About

Yellowstone Fire Soccer Association
Established 1992

Our Mission is to is promote participation in the game of competitive soccer by providing opportunities for youth to learn and develop the fundamentals of soccer. Participants will be given the chance to compete with other soccer associations both inside and outside the state of Wyoming as opportunities are available. The importance of good sportsmanship and fair play will be stressed. Additionally, while winning is not the only objective of the Association, striving to win is a healthy goal and will be encouraged. This philosophy of teaching players the fundamentals of the game in accordance with the rules, putting forth their best efforts, playing as a team, and having fun while playing within the spirit of the game, is the goal of the Association.

Yellowstone Fire Soccer Association currently operates during three seasons:

Spring Soccer:  Spring Soccer is our busiest season.  YFSA hosts a tournament in Cody every year and our teams participate in league play and several tournaments during the Spring including the Wyoming State Cup in late May.  Our players and families find themselves on the pitch training several times a week and generally play at least one league game or tournament weekly.  The spring season starts in early March and ends in late May.

Fall Soccer:  During the fall YFSA organizes competitive teams to train and participate in a couple of events in our region each year.  The fall season starts in August and ends in late October.

Winter Acedemy (Futsol):  During the winter months Yellowstone Fire has Winter Academy.  See the Player Development page for more information.  2018 Winter Academy runs Monday nights at the CMA Church Gym Jan 8th-Feb 26th.
